KateLauren is the jewelry line and online shop created by Julie Kate Ferrell. Every piece of jewelry is designed by Julie and made by hand in her Dallas workroom. Her desire to give vintage pieces new life and a modern look has driven her to develop the collections of KateLauren.

Julie’s interest in vintage jewelry began at a young age while meandering antique markets with her parents. The sparkle of rhinestones and the intricate configurations in which the stones are set always seemed to catch her eye. Fast forward 20 years, a move to Chicago, a husband and two darling children later, Julie began taking jewelry and metalsmithing classes at a local art studio where she learned a vast array of jewelry making techniques. She found the passion for reworking vintage jewelry and it was then that the vision for KateLauren began. 

Julie’s ability to find beauty in all things vintage and her ambition to create timeless, interesting, stunning jewelry is what makes KateLauren the small business it is today. She finds confidence knowing that each piece of KateLauren jewelry is one-of-a-kind and unique, just like the amazing women who wear it.
